Afternoon all, Have just done a Periodic and am currently writing it up was wondering about the following. The property is a 2 bed bungalow and is going to be rented out in the new year, the electrical installation was spot on, been done about 5 years ago and no problems. However they hadn't installed mains powered smoke detectors but had 2 battery ones, not interlinked, one in hall and one in living room.
Have had a look through some old posts, from my understanding and from reading these it's not a statutary requirement to have them but is recommended. Just wondering how to deal with it on the form. Any thoughts gratefully recieved
