Hi all

what is the best way to fill in the cable wall chase , i have been using multi finish but i am not pleased with the results what do you fellow chaps/ladys do

If its that old lime plaster it does to "bind" it first with some PVA in water mix to stop in frying so it holds together at the edges otherwise that stuff just wants to drop away and you end up following it around......

Filler is absolutely crap, Does the opposite of what it's supposed to. It cracks during drying and I wouldn't recommend it for filling holes deeper than 5mm as the filler never dries properly. The filler when dried is too soft and if the hole is deep then you're able to puncture the area with your finger quite easily. Doesn't dry to a hard surface and definitely not worth... Is this your experience of using this product ipu or are you just quoting Mr. Samuel?....We use it all the time and i find it a good product to use.....Admittedly there is plenty of crap products out there but i dont think this is one of them.....and i do talk from experience of using it.
To Ponty....Give it a go like you say and post your views on it here mate....it may be an aquired taste but i havn`t had any problems with it...............
