On the open forum (unlike this section[closed]) a question popped up regarding quals and getting a job which may apply to you guys. Read the full thread and the offer I made to the Opening Poster (OP) on page two after I got a ribbing from a respected member (no hard feelings, he is a good man). I also go on to say a little bit about myself on that page so you lot can know me a bit better.

The grading levels that I posted are my own personal opinions and not that of the JIB, scheme memberships or C&G's so dont take them to heart. Its just what I think is reality out there in the real word.

Yeah I was involved replying on that thread I saw you said and that is really good of you I really think what quals they are looking for now for a electricians mate/laborer is going too far as people like the trainees in this forum are only starting out and have not got there 17th edition and first aid and confined spaces certificates and what ever else they ask for and even if you did they dont pay a fair wage for the qualifications/skills they request

Yeah I do agree with you floody I am gonna get my safety passport so I can get on industrial sites as I like large commercial more than domestic but never done industial would like to do it
