I think the problem is this subject is so misunderstood and the last decent thread on it ended up many pages long and full of opinion that actually clouded a simple set of circumstances that dictate a yes or no answer as set out in the leaflet in the thread that Dean linked to:

The point I was making but certain people seem determined to belittle new members and make them feel unwelcome. It is not the first time I have saw this in recent weeks.
If you don't want to answer then don't. No need to shout at anyone!!! Another new member to the forum and you give yet again a nasty answer. What is your problem?
Are you purely on this forum to be argumentative and give smart arse answers?
This has been covered over and over. By searching it, it brings up loads of threads containing the answer. How is waiting for someone to reply quicker, when the information is already on the forum, covered by a 100 threads!
so why dont you go out for a night and come back when you are your friendly self for you who are thinking what others should do.... people love straight awnsers sometimes then again people want it on a plate.. but that how it rolls out..
please speak to people how you like to be spoken to yourself, if you like it rough give it rough . i have noticed aswell that some people get spoken to inapproately for not knowing what someone else knows inside out... god save the queen......
Maybe the same reason you haven't gone out for the night ....who knows!!!
This has nothing to do with not knowing what someone else knows as you put it. It has everything to do with helping your self, if the OP in this case had taken a little time to read the various threads ..including the ''sticky'' (which is what their there for) The OP could have asked direct questions relating to his particular installation and not ask a blanket question that will lead off into all sorts of unrelated directions...
Is it really too much to ask, if OPs should read through related threads before posting questions. Personally i would like some background information on a question or subject i was looking to post. At the very least it would help me with information on what to ask in the subject question....
I'll say this just one more time, so that everyone understands...
There was nothing smart or nasty in my post, intentionally or unintentionally!! I use a lot of ''!!!!'' Sorry, but that's just me i'm afraid!!
I'm not going to be held responsible to those that have thin skins, and see or read into things that are just not there !!!
