Just after a bit of advice in my home for a change not a job I am on . I want to add a few poe camera at the front and back of my home, and if possible a mini monitor at front door.
Just wondering the best way to wire and if anyone can recommend some brands.
I am thinking of running cat 6 from the cameras to a point next to main router. There I would have the recordable box . Then run another cat 6 to front door for monitor /hdmi lead.
Is this the right wire to wire or am I on the wrong path. If I could have a monitor does it need it’s on supply or can that be Poe as well.
