Discuss Points served on an niceic certificate in the Certification NICEIC, NAPIT, Stroma, BECSA Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net
On the schedule of test results on niceic cerificate where it says points served.Does a double socket mean 1 point or 2?
A point is where an accessory is connected. so it doesn't mater if single or double it's still only one point. Would you count a 2 gang switch as 2 points?
What about a 24 gang grid with multiple circuits connected in it ? Is that whole grid one point per connected circuit, or just one point for one of the circuits, or the total number of grid switches per circuit, or..... ?

It's not my company so I use what I'm given by the boss.
It's not a hardship doing it

It is part of the information required by 514.9
Size and number of conductors, points served, type of wiring. That's why those items are inserted into most inspection schedules.
But no, I never list number of points personally.

Don't leave them blank then .... put a line through them
