If you set a power one inverter to a lower input voltage range

Ie 120v on a 3600 will that bring down the over capacity of the inverter

will it still be 120v - 530v or will this reduce the 530v to a lower value?

Full Power MPPT input voltage range (symmetrical load) [V]

The reason most inverter manufacturers advise against this is that the closer the start up voltage is to the operating voltage the more likely the inverter is to keep switching on and off in marginal conditions. This can cause premature wear of components.

I understand, with the power one inverters, it brings down the whole MPPT range, this making it suitable for a wider range of installation situations.

I will try to find in the manual if i have time
