been asked to fit lights in cafe need to remove 50 small diamond shape spotlights 4 spotlight bars patch up holes then fit 10 x 1500mm fluorescent lights, any idea how much to charge...
 
need to see the job really, people ask this type of question and i laugh inwardly because you need to see it to answer that question, guestimate the time needed and multipy by hourly rate or day rate, as a punt it sounds like one decent man day

plus some time to make good , say half a day
 
yep all 50 holes have to be filled was thinking of getting sheet of plasterboard cut hole size to fit each one then plaster over
 
i could fill the holes in half day no worries
cut out holes from plaster board stick in hole ,screw and fill, job done
 
wish it was suspended one but nope it plasterboard one looking at 2 days to do lot as well as fit new lights still got decide on price
 
Fair bit of testing to do there as well. I'd be allowing 3 person days doing it myself. Depends on the luminaires you're using as well and the switching (1 way/2 way or more). Just doing the Zs alone will take a wee while.
