price to replace shower like for like.

Just woundering how much you usually charge to replace a shower like for like? Iv got to supply the shower (£100 quid shower) .I dont want to be too cheap or too pricey so i was woundering a ruff cost.

depends on the job. Is it RCd protected or will you have to do it. is the bonding etc up to spec, will you need to alter the plumbing? have you got to pull tiles off and make good afterwards........i could go on. It is one of those jobs i wouldnt quote for over the phone, i would do a visit and quote it properly. Basically, how many hours will it take times your hourly rate, plus cost of materials, EIC or MWC, notification costs if applicable, plus profit you wish to make, equals your price.

If they aint got an rcd already installed it isn't going to be like for like though.
That is if the jobs getting done right

In that case then one hour labour plus cost of shower.

Point taken Amp David,but as u well know if u start with the rcd..then u get on to the earthing....and the cost kicks in......

Thanks for the help guys. think I'm gonna charge 200 as iv had to source the shower of the net as it can only be a max of 7.5 due to the cable size and run.
