What does everyone charge for replacing a light fitting? Price worked

• With slack on cable using existing cable there.
• Without slack on cable (extended w/ Wagos)

Depends on how long it takes - e.g. is the new light a simple fitting, or a chandelier with 100 dangly bits to fit! Assuming it takes less than 1 hour, then whatever your rate is for the first hour, plus materials (which appear fairly negligible).

Minimum an hour.
Even if job just takes ten minutes, there’s travelling time, fuel, overheads to think about…

Longer if there’s a stupid little black box on a class II fitting, excessive height or a cup of tea involved,

As above. Whatever your first hour charge is, plus materials. Unless, it's a chandelier, or as @SJD Says, has lots of fiddly bits, then 1.5 - 2 hours probably.
£75 for a standard pendant change with no complications, all tests ok etc.

Quoted to get the job and got it. That’s my standard price for small jobs like that. First hour is always £80, then £60 thereafter plus materials and mark up.
