Hi guys, just thought I would throw a question about certain job pricing, I have been asked to certificate a new extention, which on visiting is only an extention of circuits, ie Lighting and ring main, so was going to issue a Minor works certificate, but have really thought about pricing, as the original electrician can't be contacted, just wondered what the going rate was.

I didn't realise it was a test, I didn't realise there was a regulation for gardening, decorating, my point was genuine sparkys who go through the effort of qualifying and then registering with a self certification scheme know alot more about electrics and what's right and wrong, then someone who hasn't but can you use a screwdriver.
