Apologies in advance if I sound a bit stupid but my head is gone with working out the answer above.

OHM's law I thought I was getting the hang of but for the life of me for the last hr where they got the calculation 0.83 ohm from.

On page 120 in the table as it says?

Check the table in the regs.
0.83 ohms is the max earth loop permissible in order for the circuit to comply with disconnection times.

That calc. is out of date anyway it doesn't take into account Cmin
