Problem on job with bungalow

Hi

I have an issue at a bungalow im working at, there is a fault

All the sockets are on a ring, when i plug something in the living room it trips the RCD plug it into any other sockets it dosent trip the RCD

The board is MAIN SWITCH RCD

I took one of the socket fronts off in living room, and it all looked fine whilst socket front was off plugged in and tripped cheers

Then pull the two pair and cpc's out the board and do the testing sequence this may lead you to a conclusion..

I think he should go for the testing of the circuit Biff to check for the usual as well as and before the suspect RCD what you reckon ?

Still think its faulty skt if no tripping anywhere else.
will only take 2 mins to prove / disprove

Yeh will change socket and megger old socket at back to check if its shorted anywere thanks for help hopefully its socket and will save me some time :24:

Then it's prob the socket feeding and next outside the lounge that has a N/E reversal (most unlikely that they're all faulty in the one room).

If its all the sockets in the lounge i wouldnt be surprised if they were on some sort of radial / branch ?
the ones i've found often have a damp / rusty JB nearby.
