Your insurance company wont find it funny either if you have a fire.

I think the insurance company would love this... They woudn't have to pay out any money.
 
I can only add my voice to wha the others have said. You've had a go yourself and its not working so you need to get in a local electrician who can diagnose and rectify the problem which is probably more than just to do with the shower circuit.

Ask on here for an electrician local to you or go onto the "electrical safety register" plug in your post code and see what comes up!
