Someone told me 18 months ago the feed in tarrifs started at 21p and everyone thought it was great. Energy prices will continue to go up and people will see 21p worth it. Panels dont cost as much to install these days, no where near what they used to be. I am still looking to go into solar pv. Yes I know I wont get cash rish fast but I know there is still some good profit in it.

Its weather your a a guy who thinks your glass is half full or half empty!!! stay positive.... its work and still profit in it.

Lets face it many people were getting very rich of the current scheme and some installers were making thousands for just a couple of days work. There will definitely still be a market next year. After all there is still a subsidy. However profits margins will probably need to be reduced to more realistic levels.

Having spent the last 9 months working 7 days a week, even going as far as taking my laptop to the beach with me on my holiday, and working from 4-5:30 am until 9-10:30 pm every day, I can honestly say that profit margins will not be cut without something slipping.

I have said it before, and I will say it again, this year I will have made less money than a London tube train driver. My hourly rate is probably somewhere near the floor. PV, done correctly, is not a cash cow.
