there is several threads on proguard consumer units lots being used in ireland and more over here? They are also very cheap as I have to fit a 12 way stacking consumer unit due to space I was looking at mk but twice the price question is are they any good ?

you get what you pay for!!!

simples.....!

if you are using cheaper equipment to make profit on job then i suggest you re quote for the job as the customer is actually paying for the materials in with your price..

i would rather pay extra few quid knowing i was getting a little bit better!

i can buy a pair of levi jeans or primarni jeans.... after 100 washes which will fair better!!

Customer brought cheap one, I was back in few month as packed in!!! Like anything you get what you pay for :) In saying that BG are probably the best I've used cheaply and then the customer themselves had brought it! I usually quote with Crabtree as I prefer working with them! Steeple, their apparent cheaper version are rubbish!

Give the customer the choice - if they choose the cheap one, then you'll probably get the remedial work when it goes wrong. You choose the cheap one then you'll have the hassle when it goes wrong.
