Hi i need help i have a projector with a halide bulb 150watt ceramic double ended .the projector has an ansi lumens of 2200 and i need a new bulb but there is a k factor what ever that means does any one know what k the bulb needs to be i have seen so many 1000k 2000k etc can any one help please. I cant go to the manifacturer as it came from china and i bought it second hand thank you sorry to be a pain

The K value is probably the colour temperature of the light.

This is a measurement used to define whether the lamp has a warm, intermediate or cool appearance, and is described in Kelvin (K). Warm lamps have a colour temperature of below 3500K, intermediate range from 3500K to 5300K, cool is between 4000K and 5300K, whilst cold bulbs rate above 5300K.

Of course you can go to the manufacturer or there website!! If it doesn't have an English tab on the website, you can always translate the page using ''Goggle translator''. I would be very surprised that even if you send an email inquiry in English, that you wouldn't get a reply in English (it maybe not GOOD English mind!! lol!!) The Chinese are a Very commercially astute people.... Go for it!! lol!!

By the way, As Richard suggesed the k value is indeed the colour temperature of the lamp!!
