Promotion - what to do?

if you take the role just for money , youre doomed cos it will be little consolation when youre dealing with sorting crap every day.
and although you may be a jolly good employee , being offered a promo after just 3 months sounds like your getting set up , the fact guys who have been there longer wont touch it says it all.
sorry to be negative but thats how i see it.

It's not just the money but it does help. After all, isn't that why we go to work?? To earn money to pay the bills.

I found out today that this job has not been offered to everyone, only 3 of us. So no doubt there will be some ****** of lads who never got the chance.

You will need a thick skin on site if you become a supervisor and leader, only you know if deep down you can do that Job on this company.
