i am doing some work in a bathroom where there is an fcu for a heated towel rail, 450mm above the floor. i need to move the pedestal basin onto the same wall as the fcu and not sure how close it can be to it, or if there is any restriction- any ideas? the pedestal is 695 high so the bottom of the basin is well above the fcu and ideally it would be nice to put the pedestal around 150mm away

I cannot believe that that diagram was posted, there is no zone around sinks.

As far as I know there is no specific restriction distance for FCUs from sinks, there is a recommendation of 300 mm away but not a requirement as this may preclude use in a small area.
The key point is suitability for the external influences, if the FCU is positioned such that it will be dripped on constantly then it is not a suitable location.
