pennywise

Got a lot of data coming up and I'm sick and tired of the crappy grey krone IDC punch downs you get in the wholesaler, you know the ones with the tiny little nut in the centre which when removed or more likely falls out prevents the blades resetting. I have been looking at Paladin stuff but if theres anything better out there any suggestions would be great thanks.:santa5:

crikey pennywise by name not pennywise by nature then!! cheapest i could find of them paladin ones was ÂŁ70, I just bought two of the ****e grey ones off ebay for 2 quid!!

still looking for something decent myself just not at that price

i prefer the term " stabber", especially when the tool slips and gets the palm of your left hand.

Tool shown there is 110 blade for 110 block terminations and no good for krone idc i agree the cheap punch down tools are crap
best to buy proper to made by krone 99% of tools on ebay are imitation
new krone tool cost about 20 quid but worth it

Well the paladin one came, it took about three weeks in the end as there where none in the country, its really well put together, then again it should be for the money but genuinely feels like its going to last a lifetime which it's guaranteed for anyway :bucktooth: plus if the need ever arises I can change the head to the alternative 110 blades.

That's the problem - they're all pretty much clones of one another. There'll be considerable differences in quality, but nothing that stands out...
