Looks pretty good and is very easy to use. If only they epanded their product library a bit then they could easily charge a small premium for the package?

Thank you for the feedback Solarcity and Stevie. :smile5:W e've had lots of requests for a paid version with more panels and inverters on it. We are looking into doing this, but the free version with our product range will always be available.

As you know, most 250W panels are pretty much the same size and output, so in most cases you can still use the designer with other panels.

The schematic generator can also be freely edited to show any make or brand of panels, inverter etc.

We're also about to add a tool which makes the estimates of array performance that will be required by MCS under the new edition 3 of the Guide to the installation of PV systems. You can try the beta version here: http://easy-pv.co.uk/performance.php

Just tried the design tool on the midsummer site, brilliant tool, well done to the team at midsummer.

The performance estimator is excellent. Had got as far as writing a spread sheet which picked out irradiance levels from post code but hadn't got anything sorted on shading.
Would be happy to shell out for an off line version of this, especially if if could generate report in .doc as well as PDF.

Well done guys.
