Does any one know at what PV panel output (watts) does a immersion controller kick in. I'm looking for something around 500 watts if possible. Any advice gladly received. Ted

Best is Immersun, kicks in around 200 Watts and manages within 20 watts, add in the monitoring system and you get full analysis of generation, consumption, import and divertion.

What about a pre built robin mk2 pv router. Think they start diverting at 1w of spare pv.
1W sounds like BS to me. Nothing is that accurate, even with true RMS ac voltage measurement, 20W is about the most accurate you can get economically

elios 4 u and power diverter can be configured in 10W increments from 10W, which is useful when paired with battery systems as when configured at 10W the 2 conflict and draw from the battery in 10W increments until the full 3kW is being pulled from the battery. Set it up at 100W and that doesn't happen.

I understand that there were a few support issues with elios, ate these now resolved?

erm er well, there is that to it. most of our fault report calls are related to elios / power reducers, they have a nasty habit of just dropping connection at random and being a git to reconnect. At least they finally produced a user guide for the connections side of things a bit back, so we can at least send the customers something to show them how to do it.

Other than that and a few other issues they're a great bit of kit.
