A rise of 60 installs per week in two weeks. It looks like a boom again!

Well, two good surveys today, another booked for Monday and a recent long phone chat with a self-builder/architect about fitting an integrated Redland system for him and things might just be looking up....maybe.

sod that, our local sandwhich shop is run by someone who IIRC used to work for gordon ramsey as a cake chef, or something like that... anyway, she does mighty fine cakes, and if we don't give them all away we get to eat them in the office.

That was the trouble I had - my partner trying to put everyone off so he could eat them all!

When you offer a free solar cup cake and they ask why it's a solar cup cake - it's because it's made free using good Yorkshire sunshine. Find out who you're "celebrity" chef is at the event - there's usually one and challenge him/her to make on. Worked for me

getting a steady flow of work now hope it keeps up !!!! had to take a shot gun on surveys but its doing the trick!!!!

No only joking !!!! its harder to sell people are getting 5 6 7 quotes and taking thier time alos theres a lot of customers playing you off agaist other installers too.

we've done a whole 2 installations this month.

Hoping things are going to pick up for may, as I think we've got 2 confirmed, 3 probable, and are in the running for a 16 house contract from a house builder with another 30 odd in the pipeline later in the year, but the price we've had to offer them at is stupidly low, and they want them in roof mounted, but at least it'll keep us in work if we get it.

Off to run our cup cake stall tomorrow as well, so fingers crossed for that one.

We're the same just had one knocked back from last week. Decided not to go ahead but would have used us if they had been. I think she wanted it more than him and we didn't have very good vibes at the survey.

We've got two jobs that haven't come back to us yet - keeping the faith is becoming more difficult!

Remember you're giving them away not eating them or you'll be through the roof not on the roof! Good luck.

Agreed- But at what point do you say enough is enough. We've all put a lot of money into PV.

We will scrape through May and if no better will probably stop advertising PV
