Afternoon All,

Does anyone have any experience of configuring dual MMP inverters in PV*Sol Expert?

I've modelled the building in 3D Visualisation with two separate arrays (2.16 & 1.68kWp) on different aspects, trouble comes when trying to specify a dual MMP tracker inverter. I can only highlight one array or the other at any one time, therefore the inverter options will only let you select an inverter suitable for the particular array highlighted.

My Saturday afternoon is rapidly disappearing on this one quote:mad2:, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Waste no more time on it! It cannot be done. Apparently they have plans to sort it though.

My best advice would be to link them up to two seperate inverters. It won't totally accurate, but at least the shading can be taken into account.

Hi . you can do what your looking for in 2d and it will pull up a twin tracker like the sma 4000tl, when i bought my pvsol expert a couple of weeks ago, i went to there office which i live near in wales and the chap in the office set it up on my laptop for me, he configured the exact system your looking for, but i could not take it all in at the time. hope this helps

It's a bit of a clunky work around but in the end I did the shading calcs in 3D then transferred the results into 2D to get the results with the SMA4000.

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated.
