Well said mate. But dont be put off, just ignore it, they are in the minority. Most, and i like to include myself, are more than willing to help and advise. If you don't ask you don't find out, and i don't have any problems with PM's asking for advice from time to time either. You will see loads of regulars on here like Telectrix, engineer54 to mention 2, but you need to read a few of their posts to understand their sense of humour, but they will genuinely want to help you.

Cheers..........Howard
quite selective there howard....

Personally I don't have a problem with people's qualifications, my problem lies with everybody calling themselves a qualified electrician, anybody can call themselves one now don't even need to do an exam!

A monkey could rewire a domestic building not rocket science there are 3 colours ffs. Get some proper experience

So thats all there is to wiring a domestic, 3 colours??...(even though theres actually 4)

So once you know the colours brown, green, yellow and blue your ready to go yeh??...ah that is easy. Why do we need such a big BS7671 book then? and building regulations?. Seems pointless, should just have the pages with the different colours on.
