I currently work for a large electrical company. Our qualified supervisor has recently left and I have been asked if I wish to take over. I have the NICEIC regional rep/examiner in soon to sort things out, which is fine. My question which is a bit hazy on the NICEIC docs is once I have registered is this a personal or company thing? For example if I leave the company does the qualified supervisor title stay with me or is it only valid where I obtained it.

Cheers.

All depends who/what is on the registration.
If is the company then it stays with the company - if your name is on it then its yours if you leave.

You may just be a registered electrician on the companies registration.

it stays with the company but if you leave the company they cant certify electrical work so the company is in a sticky situation untill they have a replacement qualified supervisor

Company thing mate.

I've been asked to do exactly the same thing but i've told them I want more cash as in this world I get nothing for free so why should the company. Surprisingly Im still waiting for a response :smilielol5:
