hi there , just wondering if anyones done any electrical courses with quickstep,if so what were they like?:)

The name puts me off for a start, as many experienced guys on here will tell you, there is no "quickstep" or "fastrack" way to be a fully qualified electrican, go to college, full time it would take 2-3 years and cost nothing in fees, part time it could take 3-5 years and cost maybe ÂŁ1500, and you would have a better understanding of the theory that way

How can you comment on a company you have never used before? I have been an electrician for over 10 years when I received my JIB card with TRAINEE written on it! I didn't need to go back to college to learn anything, I just needed that nvq level 3. The JIB recommended quickstep and I had my nvq and fully graded card in about 6 months!

college is not free if u are of a certain age and most wont even put you on a course unless u are working with a spark - i agree some training providers are crap but some are excellent and better than state run colleges . Its like the NHS v's Bupa
