Well it is electrickery....
It's one half of a 20kA rectifier system. It's water cooled but the pic was before the the plumbing bits went in.

Technically the system is a 12-pulse rectifier comprising a pair of phase shifted hexaphase rectifiers.
At that sort of level, getting the calculations wrong is not an option.

But it still gives me sweaty palms and a few extra heartbeats when it is put on line in anger.
