I’m looking at quoting for a semi-detached house. The customer enquired about whether I would be prepared to do a “package deal” if he could get his adjoining neighbour to sign up.
Installing in portrait, I can only get 2 rows of 5 panels on each property. If, however, the rails are joined together, I could get 2 rows of 11 panels on. Each property would have a panel which straddles the boundary (i.e. they would each occupy a bit of their neighbour’s roofspace.).
Apart from the fact that it would be marginally preferable to own the top panel in the middle, can anyone see a problem with this arrangement? The neighbours apparently have a good relationship.
