Hi people how much would you quote to add 4 new sockets?

1st one in living room at shoulder height. Skirting and floor boards will need lifting. Chasing up the wall and sheaving.

2nd in kitchen. Slight chasing in wall and then chasing up back of units to ceiling level all most.

3rd in bedroom into brick wall at skirting height. Slight bit of chasing out of wall and sheaving. Lifting skirting and floor boards up.

4th into a studded wall which is plaster and laff. Socket to go in at head height and chasing down the wall through a fire break then into the floor.

Any advice will be appreciated, thank you

Sorry retard I meant sheathing
LOL. It's not me who's the retard...

What exactly do you mean by "sheathing" in that context anyway? The sheath is the grey part of the cable which provides mechanical protection to the insulation covering the cores.

No I’m fitting them on the ceiling

But if you are fitting them under the floor boards then they have to be 'maintenance free'. See @Murdoch post #14 for a better alternative.

Sorry to say this but your wiring method is incorrect and your attitude seems a bit ropey. No good throwing the teddy out when people point mistakes out.

You need to look into accessibility and maintenance free junction boxes. Also remember junction boxes should have cable restraint if they are free-floating.
