Hey up swampy where you been, eating villagers!!!!!!!
Been busy my good friend, Have been working lots of overtime and also been looking at motorhomes so I can enjoy my early retirement, Me and the wife are at the NEC in a couple of weeks looking at the motorhomes, I have decided work is now second to enjoying myself.

I charge a set callout fee within my local area to get me there then start charging my hourly rate, if I have to travel more than 10 miles I charge my hourly rate for travel + mileage, you have to remeber while your sat in your van you can't be charging your hourly rate elsewhere.

It should also be noted I am Industrial so normally the price comes 2nd to the customer when they are losing sometimes thousands because a line is down or a department.

Mike Good to hear you are thinking about putting you and the wife first, you've put your time in fella so now it's time to get a bit back., I was fancyinga motor home for a while but I've got my eye on a Range Rover so it may change lol.

I would love a range rover myself, but a shogun is about all I can afford Glen.

Have a compromise mate ditch the motorhome and get caravan with a Range rover to drag it :sifone:

I can appreciate the OP not wanting to divulge too much but London and the South east is a big area and with no indication of how many shops make up the chain couple that with all the variables a contract like this can throw up and a forum like this is being asked to come up with a rate for the job!!!!
To the OP I think you need a lot more info and need to do some research before committing to a contract like this you could easily get run ragged and end up earning very little while your existing customer base is neglected

@ OP. your 1st post charges were sensible. but if it's more than 5 miles, then charge £1/mile each way on top. add any parking charges to the bill.
