Hi guys
First post so go easy on me!!

Im trying to put an RCBO into an old MK board. I am gonna double up the lighting as its all on LED bulbs and use the space to add a 40A RCBO which is powering a 2 way in the shed. Now im not sure if i can use the modern RCBO's in this board.

Ive seen this one Space does not seem a problem:

None of them circuits were added by me!!

The shed has an RCD in it, but do i not need an RCD to cover the SWA to the shed??
Sorry never thought for one minute it was your work. No you won't need rcd assuming the earthing system isn't TT.

It's just an old house. That's what they did in our day. I'm surprised to see the MCBs; very modern!!

The sentry range will be too long but the Hager range of MCBs will fit the old MK boards. Worth a try.

Cheers

Ken
What do you mean that is what they did in our day, the old MEM board looks original but the rest isn't. So we are going from doubling up circuits to fitting non compatible devices. Is it just me ?
