imagine if you could get a rcbo for a rewirable cu....unless there already is one?? answers on a post card please.....

i know just messing with you, but i often feel like im selling rcd,s now although i always put them in its like the bonding of gas and water some customers just think your spinning them a line and they dont want to pay and in todays economic climate noone has the money, the first question i ask when i go to a customers house is weres the stopcock and gas cupboard and they look at you puzzled lol

I have said it before and I will say it again. The governing bodies should get together and have a media campaign to educate the general public in there obligations to comply with the likes of part p and electrical safety issues. They have adds running regarding smoke alarms in homes, so why not the dangers of electricity in the home. Public awareness would make our life easier and the cowboys life harder as far as I am concerned.( Off soapbox):D

There aren't any restrictions on putting an RCD after the fuse, I have seen showers with MCB in the CU and an RCD in a seperate IP rated enclosure
