Right, this has got me a slight bit baffled, this morning at around 6:30am i found the RCCB controlling the lights up and down, cooker and water heater had tripped in the night..No shower and no breakfast!.:59:..i switched off all the breakers and tried to put the RCCB back on and nothing, it would not work. After a couple of attempts it stays on, and then i switched on the breakers one by one assuming the guilty mcb would trip the rccb. Still nothing, everything worked fine for a few mins and then it trips again, i tried to switch on the rccb with the breakers on,,of,, no load and full load (kettle),,nothing seems to be working so i assume its a dud, and finding a replacement seems to be a nightmare as no one seems to do them, had to resort to ebay, ÂŁ20..anyway after work i came home and wanted to watch the footy so i tried to turn it all on. now it all seems to be fine and working asif nothing had happend?, during the day aswell it was off as i had a family member round and they tried to turn it on and nothing,
im not very experienced and have not had much time to do any testing!..also the rccb has the neutral bar mounted on the front of it, now if anyone can tell me/guide me on what to do i would very much appreciate it.
