Help in new to this and not sure I'm in the right place ,my RCD plug off my lay z spa hot tub and now won't work, is there a chance it ll work when it dries out our do I need to replace?

You say "when it drys out" meaning it has got wet in the past. An RCD socket has mechanical moving parts inside and water is not good for them. This needs to be change by an electrician and tested for your safety. I would not like to sit in a big bucket of water fed from an un-tested power source!!!

Also I will add:- the electrician needs to look at the position of the socket and why it got wet in the first place. Obviously the position or IP (ingress protection) is inadequate and needs to be addressed before continual use of the Spa.

It's brand new I was testing the spa out the plug was tied in a plastic bag to keep weather out and I was called away my wife forgot to bring it in and a small amount of water got into the RCD plug

Whats your location Stemnish, maybe one of the members is close by and wouldn't charge the earth to test it for you before you energise it.

i'd have to pose the question whether the socket is on a RCD protected circuit in the first place.
