was testing portakabin DB today but when dong the RCD trip it keeps taking the RCD supplying the portakabin how do i get around thanks before hand

take the RCD out of the cabin if the supply cable needs RCD protection. if it doesn't need it, feed from main DB from a non-RCD way. 2 RCDs in series will give you this problem. bad design.

sorry i should have been clearer i am testing the portakabin in a workshop they are just plugged into a 32amp industrial socket which is being fed by a 32amp 30MA RCD

Also,if TT to 32 A socket outside,RCD has to be two pole,but as told,fashion supply to test from non-RCD point.....and does it smell like a damp knicker drawer?...the three i was in today did...
