I recently purchased waterproof garden strip light from Amazon but yesterday I turned on garden light at night time after a long spell of heavy rain during day time and I heard a buzzing sound coming from it. After a while my RCD tripped but the same light when I turned on dry day nothing happened. I also have other waterproof garden light and they were not affected by rain.

Looking at product description from Amazon I found out that this light can be left outside in rain but not under water.

Can someone advice me the cause of this problem and how to rectify it

Light that buzzes in the rain.... RCD trips....you don't have to be a genius to suspect that the new addition is faulty, not installed correctly, or simply not up to the job. It had probably had the chance to dry out a bit by the next day.
What do you think of it's construction; can water get in? Is there a joint box and is that suitably waterproof?

The fact your other products come from the same shop isn't really material as Amazon sell reputable brands of lighting as well as things I refuse to fit as I don't consider them fit for purpose.

I'm not sure how anyone on a forum can help more, unless you want to stick up a picture of it.
