Afternoon chaps

I have started a rewire today and initially I planned to put a separate ring in for the kitchen. However now I have started I'm not sure I need to.

It's a small terrace with living room (4 Doubles) dining room leading to the kitchen (4 doubles in the dining room & 6/7 points comprising double sockets and FCU's)

I couldn't convince myself one way or the other so I thought I'd ask on here.

Normally I always put a separate ring in for the kitchen but as this place is so small I'm starting to doubt myself.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

My kitchen has a 4mm radial for most of the sockets except two which I tagged onto the end of the living room 4mm radial. Was quicker and easier at the time, wouldn't do it if starting from scratch I guess.

nowt wrong with A2 circuits .....you use the best solution for the scenareo.....it may be a ring final.....or a radial....the choice is there....which is why i cant understand those that come in here pushing for one..or the other.....

Im looking at rewiring part of my house also. From what i have read if your renewing sections then this does not require current build regualtions, by this i mean new builds have to have a seperate ring mains to everything else.

Please correct me if im wrong , I have only just started learning some of the regs.

Changing a CU is notifiable and so is a partial or full rewire.
