has any of you had problems with the elster gen meter i seam to have the same prob every time, the inverter is clocking up what it generates but the gen meter does not move, what am i doing wrong

Have you got it connected the wrong way round? Remember, the inverter is the supply and the consumer unit is effectively the load.

Nope - you sure the radial from the inverter is going into the left hand side of the meter?

now you have said that i am not sure this was a pig of a job to do on the roof i was p/off, soaked to the skin, and had 2 hrs travelling with wet shreddies. i need to look at that cheers.

Just following up -

I had my REAL Audit last week - all went well, my auditer was excellent and genuinly nice person, i have a much better understanding of REAL and truly belive its a good thing.

My corrections are as follows:

To completly read through the code and understand it properly.
Write a vulnerable persons policy
Update my survey form to include the time i enter the property and time i left (as you can only be there 2 hours max)
Write a complaints proceedure and link it to my exsting process.
Link to REAL on the website.

Thats all - nice and painless - my advice to others is to write a vulnerable persons policy and make sure you understand who is vulnerable and offer them a trusted friend to be there at the same time as you, otherwise walk away.
