I was reading it and I chuckled as I read the opening paragraphs then I got further down the list I'm going to presume this is a wind up? Very well written thou. A*

Thanks for all the constructive input from you guys.Your the salt of the earth.

To those on here who burned me as I said you would in my original postfor just asking a simple question about price and how you justify this. Well if you can't explain or justify without being rude then I feel sorry for your customers who choose you to do their work and I certainly would not want to be one of them..manners cost nothing..especially these days in a recession.
I do wonder how many other trades can charge 400 quid labour plus for a mornings work, not many I expect and then grumble about justifying their prices to the public, especially in a recession..!! Then again, you can't go on a course to gain a certificate in manners either can you..:0(

Thanks again though to those great sparks on here that have been constructive, well mannered and helpful..There is a god..!

400 for a morning? I'd like that but by the time I have been the wholesalers and purchased a quality board, some tails etc then drove to your house, tested the circuits, upgraded the board, tested again and rectified a few small faults, drove home, sat in front of the pc for an hour or so, printed and emailed you the certs then notified LABC there isn't probably that long left in the day, certainly not enough to do another job. So when you deduct the cost of materials, insurances, mileage etc what your left with is certainly not what I would say is ripping someone off.

Certain CU changes I have done that have been a little troublesome with fault finding I sit at home probably having earnt the same as the barman gets per hour that's just served me.

Like I said, if I could have some of this 400 for a morning stuff please let me know where to find it!

Then again I also assume this is a wind up
