Welcome back to the 2391 Inspection and Testing course!

The City & Guilds 2391 qualification has recently been introduced to replace the 2394 and 2395 awards.

There will be 3 pathways for the 2391.

City & Guilds 2391-50 Level 3 Award in Initial Verification

City & Guilds 2391-51 Level 3 Award in Periodic Inspection

City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Inspection and Testing (combined Initial and Periodic)

The assessments for the new awards have been changed significantly and we believe this will be beneficial to most candidates.
The most significant change is that all exams are now 'open book'.
The practical assessments have also been updated to remove duplication and more accurately reflect real life scenarios.

You can complete any of the 2391 qualifications during our 7-day course:

Course Dates:

Mon 17th - Fri 21st July & Mon 24th - Tue 25th July 2017 - fully booked

Mon 7th - Fri 11th Aug & Mon 14th - Tue 15th Aug 2017 - limited availability

Mon 18th - Fri 22nd Sept & Mon 25th - Tue 26th Sept 2017

Mon 6th - Fri 10th Nov & Mon 13th - Tue 14th Nov 2017

Well they dumbed it down to make it the 2394 and 95, and now they've dumbed it down some more. It seems the 2391 is becoming another paper exercise qualification with no real meaning.

i dunno, rebus have got a good name in the training field. each is a 7 day course.

It's now all open book tel. That's the only real thing that made the previous ones challenging.

I'm sure that training center is good and is offering more of a course than one just aimed at getting you through the exam. However not all are going to be like that are they.

thing is Rob, in the real world we all have reference books/guides to refer to . the important thing is competence to test/inspect. most of this comes from hands on experience, an encyclopedic knowledge of regs and tables won't help here.

I agree with that Tel, the 2391 exam wasn't all about remembering tables it was more in remembering what test results meant how to do the tests. Now if your just reading from a book to write the answer down, how many will actually understand what's being written down?
