It turns out the bulbs we like have almost the exact same profile as an R63, so a downlight fixture looks like the perfect solution. Thanks all.
 
i have an offer for Led bulbs 10w bayonet in warm white.

The bulbs are dimmable with dimmer switch. Double-click the wall switch or an ordinary switch on a table lamp and the bulb dima to 30%.
