Hi Chaps, could anyone offer me suggestions for a few books as a reading list please?

I'm hoping to get in to college to start my 2330 in September and am looking to have a sneaky read through some books first to make sure I think I can handle the academic side of the course.

Can anyone recommend me some "beginners" books or tell me what the course text books are so I can buy one upfront to make sure i think I'll be OK with the course content before I shell out on the course fees?

I'm in an office job at the moment so going to do the course and take my time over the 3 years, so any help on the books front would be great...

Thanks all.

Daz

Hi Darren

There is a sticky for these books, but here is the link anyway!

Dave's Amazon Store - Electrical Books

Hope this helps!

I might have a book or 2 on pdf, so you don't have to shell on the book and then decide you dont want to do the course.

Send me your addy via PM and I'll see if I can send them to you via email. They might be too big but I can always have a go.

Mark:)

Basic Electrical Installation Work ISBN 9780750687515
BS 7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations ISBN 9780863418440
Guidance Note 3 Inspection and Testing ISBN 9780863418570

These would start you off on the right track.

Good luck
