We have three forums that were all UK. We now have them open to the world and appear in international search engines (as in Google.com when searching in USA, rather than just Google.co.uk like we used to).

Our tile forum has around 50% of its traffic from USA now. And active members really starting to grow.

Plumbers is getting there. And electricians (the last I moved so a bit behind in that sense) is on track.

But I've found that, as with automotive forums I'm involved with, people close to each other in the real world really do end up bumping into each other online too we find! So it takes time but will naturally have its little groups of people. I'm avoiding clique because that suggests unwelcome but we are all friendly here.

So anyway, this is partly why I've created a US only area.

As I've said in another thread though, UK staff will still be around in USA forums at least until I get USA staff.

Thanks for reading if you've got this far. 😀
