Recently carried out repairs after customer had E.I.C.R done no bonding in place so fitted also no RCD protection so fitted RCBO on Skts and upstairs lighting circuits
Do I now have to issue a new E.I.C.R or just a Test Results sheet and is it notifiable

A covering letter confirming repairs to EICR defects are completed will usually sufice rather than having to issue new EICR certs.
As for the need for notifiying , i'd say no given the works you've described.

rcbo readings can go on minor works too! as long as its on a cert who cares what kind it is
mw 1 page
eic 3 pages

Surely the type of certificate issued is the type required by the regulations, not one for convenience of the said electrician?
My EIC's tend to be more than 3 pages on average I would say more like 7 or 8 pages.
I would always issue an EIC for changing the characteristics of any circuit, and issue an updated EICR for the rest of the installation if required.

RCBO's and MCB's have same characteristics provided they are the same type/rating.

It looks like I may become unpopular here if this is what some members think, I do apologise I have no intention of being difficult, but, look at the BS descriptions and various testing methods for each BS category and you will see there are significant differences between a RCBO and a MCB

Hmm , really ?
So would you completely re-do the EICR from scratch yourself ?
Or just copy the results from the other electricians report and hope that what he's recorded is correct ?
I'd do neither.

I would act in a professional manner and do what is required by regulation, and statute law, I had a feeling that when I joined this forum I would be in a safe place, but have come to realise that I am probably the only electrician here, which is a shame, as some members really do have a grasp on the need to regulate. I do hope from your reply that you neither earn a living from or presume to be a competent electrician.
If I have misunderstood your rebuff, and taken personal insult from a written word I do apologize but I feel I can give no more input to a forum if you are the standard of what novices are to take notice of.
I apologise to the moderators and the Admin of this forum and will accept any retribution for my outburst.

My question was of genuine interest on your take on the matter.
Questioning my competence just for asking is a bit below the belt TBH.
And you know absolutly sweet FA about my experience level , not that i judged yours.
