Replacement small round transformer

Anyone know where I can find really small round transformers to fit in the back of wall lights. To power 3x 12v 10w capsule halogens

Can't find them anywhere!

They used to be called '35 watt button transformers' in this neck of the woods, maybe a search for that name will throw something up.

you won't. 30watts@ 12 V is 2.5A. that means a bigger tranny than will physically fit. only way is to mount tranny remotely from the fitting.

This second one was what I was thinking of, it's 55mm diameter by 23mm high. I doubt you'll get much smaller than that to be honest.

No probs, I can't remember if they're dimmable or not and maybe just check the minimum wattage requirement aswell.
