DIY Halogen to LED Standard Lamp

DIY Hi to you all and thank you for allowing me to post on your forum and for taking the time to look. I haven’t been able to find the answer anywhere.
Hopefully the pictures will help they are in order and show my old lamp that I like to use to read and sew by when the light is poor.
I would be interested to know if changing the halogen bulbs to LED and transformer to an LED Driver is possible and would it work?
This is the original set up
Old Lamp had G4 12V 10W (5 bulbs) halogen bulbs and transformer -
HUIBOLONG HT6024V1 SLIDING FOOT DIMMER TRANSFORMER – BLACK
Model: HT6024V1 Input: 220 – 240v Secondary: 11.5v Output: 60w
Original Halogen Bulbs are G4 12V 10W (5 bulbs) were dimmable new bulbs are not dimmable (and I don’t want or need them to be).
This is my query
My proposal
If I replace those old bulbs with these G4 12V LED 1.2W (5 bulbs)
and replace the original transformer as above (HUIBOLONG HT6024V1) with this 6W LED driver will it work okay? If the answer is yes what size fuse would I need to put in the plug?
Thanks so much for looking and any sound advice will be very welcome

Your proposal should work fine.
Just some comments:
Presumably the LED versions fit the bulbholders OK, as I notice they seem to be a bit bigger/ larger diameter?
The LED driver module is fine, but it will be running at maximum rating, so make sure it doesn't get covered up.
Also I think its style of construction suggests it would normally be fixed in place out of harms way. If it just replaces the foot switch and will be knocking around on the floor, make sure the mains cable is securely clamped where it goes into the module.
I would put a 3A fuse in the mains plug. Could be lower, but not more.

Good luck with the project.

Hi Avo Mk8 Thank you so much! Yes the bulbs fit perfectly I don't think they are much bigger. I could have bought a bigger rated LED driver but didn't, thinking that would be the correct size. It'll be left alone in a corner and not disturbed so hopefully without issue. I've checked the plug and it has a 3 amp already fitted. Again thank you for your expert advice it is so very much appreciated
