Got a fair few fluorescents im maintaining. twin 70w. new starter and lamp didnt do the trick so im replacing the ballast,
Iv got osram quicktronic 2x58-70 i understand the connection for the lamps. 21 and 22 to 1 end of tube1 25 and 26 to one end of tube 2. then 23 to other end of tube 1 and linked to other pin and then to other end of tube 2 and back to ballast. Its nots very clear on the power connections tho. 1,2 and 3. 2 is ground but it doesnt say live or neutral on 1 or 3 and i didnt want to damage the ballast and connect wrong.
wholesaler supplied me with 4-80w/18-36-58w fs-u starters. I think these are wrong sometime they ignite the lamp but more often that not wont. Are electronic ballasts worth the extra money 70-150w?
Thanks
