Hi,
I'm installing a nest in a vicarage where we'll only be temporarily (3-6 years) so hoping to be able to take it with us when we go, and reinstall the original timer.
I've had a look at the wiring to the heating controller, and it seems to my mind that this would be the most sensible place to put the heat link (ie. Replacing the heating timer, pictured below). Of course we'd then need to set the main thermostat so that it always was always triggering "on" (ie. Set it to max/30°C)
The black wires in 3 and 4 here I think must correspond with 3 and 6 on the nest heat link below.
So my question is, do I need to loop from the live/neutral to 2 and 5?
Does this all make sense, or am I missing anything?
Many thanks in advance!
Mike
