replacing oven and hob

my new oven needs hardwiring but all there is in oven housing is a cooker outlet which 6kw hob is wired to and a single socket wired off this for plug in oven am i right in changing the front of socket to a DOUBLE POLE SWITCHED
FUSE SPUR OUTLET cu as 32a mcb also 45amp ccu on wall in kitchen

just put a plug on it and plug it in

should be OK on a 13A FCU then. 1 point. the rating of the cooker isolator is irrelevant. the 45A is just it's max. load. make sure you use a decent FCU , not cheapo rubbish.

Installing something similar right now, but the manufacturer states it MUST NOT be connected via a plug & socket, so check manual first...
only a thought...
